RESUMEN: La Educación Ambiental se ha propuesto como una dimensión transversal que no debe limitarse al carácter formal de la educación. En Colombia, esta dimensión suele ubicarse curricularmente de manera descontextualizada y como complemento directo del área de Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental, lo que desvirtúa la transversalidad e interfiere con el carácter crítico. En respuesta, esta investigación propone una estrategia de Formación en Educación Ambiental Crítica dirigida a los docentes de todas las áreas, en formación y servicio dentro del Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá, pertenecientes a la comunidad de maestros MARCOSP, para analizar el nivel y las perspectivas en la Formación en Educación Ambiental. Lo anterior desde un enfoque cualitativo y en el marco metodológico de la investigación acción, que permite un proceso constante de reflexión. En la estrategia desarrollada se encuentran aciertos como los métodos de comunicación, errores en algunos modos de continuidad en la comunidad y, además, la prospección de elementos de lectura para trabajar como Comunidad de Aprendizaje enfocada a su formación en Educación Ambiental Crítica. En general, se encuentra que la estrategia tiene el potencial de promover un carácter crítico en la Formación en Educación Ambiental de los docentes de la comunidad. Además, se concluye que la comunidad de aprendizaje es un espacio de formación docente que permite la interacción, reflexión y construcción entre pares. |

In Colombia, this dimension is usually curricularly placed in a decontextualized manner and as a direct complement to the area of Natural Sciences and Environmental Education, which detracts from the transversality and interferes with the critical nature. In response, this research proposes a strategy of Critical Environmental Education Training directed to teachers of all areas, in training and service within the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley, belonging to the community of teachers MARCOSP, to analyze the level and perspectives in Environmental Education Training. The above from a qualitative approach and in the methodological framework of action research, which allows a constant process of reflection. In the strategy developed, we found successes such as the communication methods, errors in some modes of continuity in the community and, in addition, the prospecting of reading elements to work as a Learning Community focused on its formation in Critical Environmental Education. In general, it is found that the strategy has the potential to promote a critical character in the Environmental Education Training of the community teachers.
