Por ello es pertinente recordar las palabras de un pensador, como John Harris, cuando dice “…Es significativo que se ha alcanzado un punto en la historia de la humanidad en el cual los intentos por hacer un mundo mejor deben incluir no solo los cambios en el mundo mismo, sino también los cambios en la humanidad, quizá con consecuencias, como que nosotros, o nuestros descendientes, cesaremos de ser humanos en el sentido en el cual entendemos ahora esa idea…” (Harris, Enhancing Evolution: The Ethical Case for Making Better People, 2010). |
