RESUMEN: A través de un acercamiento teórico del derecho de asociación sindical colombiano, del concepto de Trabajo Digital y del trabajador de plataformas digitales, un corto análisis del mercado laboral en Colombia y un diagnóstico actual de las condiciones socioeconómicas y de seguridad social de los trabajadores de plataformas digitales, el presente artículo analiza si la asociación sindical es una posible herramienta, ante la ausencia de legislación, para lograr la afiliación al sistema de seguridad social de los trabajadores digitales en Colombia. Lo anterior a partir de una metodología de investigación jurídica mixta, que permitió la valoración cualitativa desde la teoría e investigación cuantitativa que corrobore la hipótesis mediante encuestas a trabajadores digitales. Con ello, se ha concluido que es posible la creación de asociaciones sindicales gremiales, que propendan en la búsqueda de la protección social de los trabajadores digitales. |

Con ello, se ha concluido que es posible la creación de asociaciones sindicales gremiales, que propendan en la búsqueda de la protección social de los trabajadores digitales.ABSTRACT: This paper analyzes, through a theoretical approach of the colombian rights of union association, the concept of Digital Work and workers of digital platforms, a short analysis of the labor market in Colombia and a current diagnosis of the socioeconomic and social security conditions of digital platform workers, if the union is a possible tool, in the absence of legislation, to achieve affiliation to the social security system for digital workers in Colombia, based on a mixed legal research methodology, which allowed qualitative assessment from the theory and quantitative research that corroborates the hypothesis through surveys of digital workers.
