Description
Summary:ABSTRACT: The purpose of this paper is to define the innovation portfolio of a Higher Education Institution (HEI) by means of an innovation system enabling its effective management. To this purpose we use a methodology based on four phases: theoretical foundations; data collection; case analysis in light of the theoretical foundations; and a synthesis of practical contributions. The conceptual perspective is based on the minimum viable innovation system model. The results show that the institution needs to fill the growth gap between the outcome of current activities and where it wants to be in five years’ time. The prioritized idea within the innovation portfolio consists in designing and implementing a technological platform to support the offer of innovative social services.
