RESUMEN: La finalidad de esta investigación fue mostrar la situación adversa que viven y han vivido los niños en Colombia debido al conflicto armado, el cual no considera las implicaciones del daño directo o indirecto que causa. Las mujeres y los niños son quienes más sufren las consecuencias y conservan las secuelas. La investigación se llevó a cabo mediante la observación participativa en talleres que se realizaron en una biblioteca pública en el municipio de Bello, Antioquia, donde se trabajó con jóvenes y niños algunos de ellos víctimas del conflicto armado. A partir de estas experiencias literarias se extrajeron diversas narraciones, algunas con mayor grado de afectación que otras, lo cual permitió diversificar las historias. La creación de un ambiente seguro y de confianza en el cual los participantes se sintieron acogidos y animados a narrar lo vivido fue fundamental para lograr una experiencia catártica, en la que los participantes se sintieron escuchados y comprendidos. La literatura infantil desempeñó un papel importante en este trabajo, al ofrecer una experiencia estética y literaria que les permitió viajar en el tiempo y revivir simbólicamente los hechos que habían sucedido en el pasado, para evitar repetirlos en la vida real. Esto les recordó la naturaleza de la violencia y la importancia de evitar que se repitan hechos tan lamentables. |

Esto les recordó la naturaleza de la violencia y la importancia de evitar que se repitan hechos tan lamentables.ABSTRACT: The purpose of this research was to show the adverse situation that children in Colombia live and have experienced, due to the armed conflict, which does not pay attention to the implications of the direct or indirect damage that it causes; being the women and children who collect the effects and preserve the consequences. Through participatory observation in workshops, whose setting was a public library, with young people and children victims of the armed conflict, it was possible to extract from these literary experiences, which diversified the narratives; some with a greater degree of affectation in the description than others, achieved by the space of security and trust, where they felt welcomed and encouraged to narrate what they experienced. Environment that was cathartic, due to how exposed the participant was when narrating his story, being welcomed in listening to those present.
