Concluimos que por su bajo costo,fácil aprendizaje y realización y baja morbilidad,la gastrostomía percutánea radiológica es una excelente alternativa para los pacientes que la requieran.

Concluimos que por su bajo costo,fácil aprendizaje y realización y baja morbilidad,la gastrostomía percutánea radiológica es una excelente alternativa para los pacientes que la requieran.ABSTRACT: Our initial experience with 14 percutaneous gastrostomies under fluoroscopic control at the Radiology Service of the San Vicente de Paul Hospital in Medellin is presented.The protocol employed is transcribed entirely,analyzing in depth its indications,morbidity and mortality, and comparing them with the results obtained in a group of surgical gastrostomies performed at the same institution.
