RESUMEN: Los procesos de recolección de muestras clínicas en los laboratorios son fundamentales para la prevención, diagnóstico y tratamiento de enfermedades, no obstante, en ocasiones puede llegarse a presentar riesgos u errores en dichos procesos generando eventos adversos o incidentes que ponen en peligro la seguridad del paciente. Alrededor de esto, el presente estudio, surge con el interés de analizar la gestión de los riesgos en la fase preanalítica del laboratorio clínico y su impacto en la seguridad del paciente. En este punto, la exploración y el análisis bibliográfico de diseño cualitativo, profundizó en una búsqueda exhaustiva de estudios dispuestos en diversas bases de datos, empleando operadores booleanos y matrices de investigación. Los resultados destacaron, la importancia de las diversas estrategias, herramientas y propuesta aplicadas en los laboratorios clínicos para manejar los riesgos en la etapa preanalítica y disminuir los errores que comprometan el bienestar del paciente. |
