RESUMEN: Este artículo muestra los diferentes abordajes del Capital Social, así como, sus diversas concepciones y los debates sobre él. También, propone para el Capital Social la dimensión “Acceso a los recursos sociales”, que mide la capacidad de movilización de recursos sociales tangibles de los actores del barrio y la familia, con lo cual, permite señalar la distribución diferencial de estos recursos entre individuos y grupos humanos y; articular este capital con la Clase Social. Igualmente, se analizan los diferentes niveles de medición del Capital Social y los diversos cuestionarios utilizados para medirlo. Se propone el cuestionario Harmonised Question Set Ampliado, que le incorpora al original las dimensiones “Acceso a los recursos sociales” e “Información”. Finalmente, se concluye que, pese a la diversidad de concepciones sobre el Capital Social, este constructo es útil, entre otros aspectos, para comprender en diferentes niveles, la dinámica de las relaciones sociales de individuos y grupos en cuanto movilización de recursos sociales por parte de ellos, así como, permite entender el contexto de diferentes fenómenos sociales. |

It also proposes to Social Capital the “Access to social resources” dimension, which measures capacity on tangible social resources mobilization of actors in neighborhood and family, which allows to point out differential distribution of these resources between individuals and human groups, and to articulate this capital with Social Class. Likewise, different levels of measurement of Social Capital and various questionnaires used to measure it are analyzed. An Expanded Harmonized Question Set questionnaire is proposed, which incorporates the dimensions “Access to social resources” and “Information” to the original.
