RESUMEN: Se realiza un estudio comparado de “Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius” y “La salida” en base a la teoría de la hiperrealidad y el simulacro de Jean Baudrillard. Baudrillard observa que, en las culturas posmodernas, la realidad es invadida y remplazada por el simulacro. Distinguir entre ambos se hace imposible, la realidad se extingue y da paso a la hiperrealidad. Se analiza si, en los relatos, la realidad y el simulacro se pueden entender como principios opuestos, o si bien se crean diferentes niveles de simulacro, haciendo desaparecer la realidad. Se reflexiona acerca de la función de los medios en cada una de las obras (libros en Borges; libros, cine, internet, telefonía móvil en Kehlmann), en relación a la hiperrealidad creada. |

Baudrillard observes that in postmodern cultures, reality is invaded and replaced by simulation. It is impossible to distinguish between them, reality ceases and gives way to hyperreality. The stories are analyzed to determine whether reality and simulation can be understood as opposing principles, or whether different levels of simulation are created, causing reality to vanish.
