RESUMEN: En este trabajo monográfico se indaga el postulado que Walter Benjamin formula en el primer resumen o Exposé para su ensayo París, capital del siglo XIX en referencia al flâneur. En este postulado, Benjamin plantea que en la forma de vida del flâneur todavía se asoma con un resplandor de reconciliación la futura y desconsolada forma de vida del hombre de la gran ciudad. El objetivo que se pretende es mostrar que en la forma de vida del flâneur existen unos elementos fundamentales que lo diferencian del hombre de la gran ciudad y que permiten establecer una reconciliación con una forma de vida anterior, en la que la experiencia en su sentido auténtico era posible. Estos elementos corresponden a la manera de andar del flâneur y su particular atención. Para el desarrollo del planteamiento se abordar filosóficamente la diferencia que Benjamin hace entre Erfahrung (experiencia) y Erlebnis (vivencia). Esta diferencia permite identificar algunas de las características fundamentales de la forma de vida del flâneur, para mostrar finalmente en qué sentido el andar del flâneur y su atención generan un elemento reconciliador con una forma de vida anterior donde la experiencia, tal y como la concibe Benjamin, era posible. |

In this thesis, Benjamin argues that in the lifestyle of the flâneur there still appears a glimmer of reconciliation with the future and disconsolate way of life of the man of the great city. The objective is to demonstrate that in the flâneur's way of life there are fundamental elements that distinguish it from the city dweller and that allow for a reconciliation with a previous way of life in which experience, in its authentic sense, was possible. These elements pertain to the manner of walking of the flâneur and his particular attention. To develop this argument, the philosophical distinction Benjamin makes between Erfahrung (experience) and Erlebnis (lived experience) will be addressed.
