description RESUMEN: El presente trabajo propone y analiza la pertinencia de una aproximación multi-proxy asociada a materialidades arqueológicas como cerámica, herramientas líticas, fuentes fluviales, aterrazamientos, microrrestos paleoambientales y restos de moluscos gasterópodos; mediante la diversificación de metodologías que no son de uso común en Colombia, pero que posibilitan hallar, analizar y entender el aprovechamiento humano de su entorno natural, así mismo se propone establecer patrones de visibilidad y posibles rutas de acceso al cerro y al entendimiento de los sitios arqueológicos. Los resultados de este estudio sustentan la importancia de conservar, divulgar y mantener el patrimonio cultural de carácter mueble e inmueble no solo del Cerro Quitasol, sino también de las materialidades arqueológicas identificadas mediante investigaciones básicas, mitigando de manera importante los niveles de afectación. A su vez, pretende aportar a la manera en que los habitantes del municipio de Bello se relacionan e identifican con el paisaje geográfico, histórico, simbólico y tangible que se localiza en este complejo natural y cultural.

A su vez, pretende aportar a la manera en que los habitantes del municipio de Bello se relacionan e identifican con el paisaje geográfico, histórico, simbólico y tangible que se localiza en este complejo natural y cultural.ABSTRACT: This paper proposes and analyzes the relevance of a multi-proxy approach associated with archaeological materials such as pottery, stone tools, river sources, terraces, paleoenvironmental microremains and remains of gastropod molluscs; through the diversification of methodologies that are not commonly used in Colombia, but that make it possible to find, analyze and understand the human use of its natural environment, likewise it is proposed to establish visibility patterns and possible access routes to the hill and the understanding of the archaeological sites. The results of this study support the importance of conserving, disseminating and maintaining the movable and immovable cultural heritage not only of Cerro Quitasol, but also of the archaeological materialities identified through basic investigations, significantly mitigating the levels of affectation.
