RESUMEN: Las centrales de esterilización se han convertido en un servicio fundamental dentro de Las instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud de III y IV nivel de complejidad, ya que desde allí se proveen insumos que benefician la seguridad del paciente, de ahí la necesidad de contar con un personal idóneo. Es por esto, que resulta importante caracterizar el tipo de formación del talento humano en las centrales de esterilización del Área Metropolitana durante el año 2022 y así verificar si este servicio se adhiere a la ley que estandariza los conocimientos necesarios para adelantar labores en una CE. Para la recolección de información de esta investigación se diseñó una encuesta con 13 preguntas, en su mayoría de selección múltiple con única respuesta, sin embargo, en otras preguntas, se da la opción para que el participante incluya su respuesta personal si no se relaciona con alguna de las opciones presentadas. Cabe resaltar que la aplicación de estas encuestas se realizó en instituciones de III y/o IV nivel de complejidad del área metropolitana. De este modo, estas evidenciaron que las CE se adhieren a la ley de manera gradual y progresiva, ya que se puede notar la transición que se está haciendo para adoptar un talento humano con un nivel de formación mínimamente técnico. Además, cabe resaltar que la exigencia del curso en CE es un requisito indispensable para laborar en este servicio. Palabras claves: tabaquismo, intervención, evaluación de programas. |

This is why it is important to characterize the type of training of human talent in the sterilization plants of the Metropolitan Area during the year 2022, and thus verify if this service adheres to the law that standardizes the knowledge necessary to advance work in an SP. For the collection of information from this research project, a survey was designed with 13 questions, mostly multiple choice with only one answer, however, in other questions, the option is given for the participant to include his personal answer if it is not related to any of the options presented. It should be noted that the application of these surveys was carried out in institutions of III and/or IV level of complexity of the metropolitan area. In this way, they evidenced that the SP adhere to the law in a gradual and progressive way, since it can be noticed the transition that is being made to adopt a human talent with a minimally technical level of training.
