RESUMEN. Las mujeres de este estudio salieron de su territorio de origen por diferentes motivos: por desplazamiento forzado, por estudio, por trabajo y por comercio. Cuando se encuentran en la ciudad tienden a perder la identidad porque deben adaptarse a otra cultura que no es la suya, con otros valores, otras formas de espiritualidad, otras formas de educarse hasta olvidar su lengua materna, sus prácticas ancestrales. Por esto, se implementaron actividades y talleres para el fortalecimiento de la identidad, tales como: conversatorios, círculo de la palabra, entrevista, minga, tejidos de chaquiras y semillas. El resultado fue que las mujeres que participaron se sienten un poco más seguras, autónomas al tomar sus decisiones y con mayor interés de participar en los diferentes programas que ofrece la Alcaldía de Medellín y otras Instituciones no gubernamentales. |
