RESUMEN: El objetivo de esta investigación es comprender la relación entre el apego y la conducta suicida en adolescentes escolarizados del municipio de Apartadó. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, bajo el método de estudio de casos, ya que permite obtener información detallada sobre las experiencias y percepciones de los adolescentes con relación al apego y la conducta suicida. La muestra estuvo conformada por tres estudiantes de diferentes instituciones educativas del municipio de Apartadó entre 14 y 18 años, elegidos por conveniencia. Para recopilar información se realizó una entrevista en profundidad en la que se preguntaron sobre las categorías estudiadas y la relación entre ambas. En cuanto a la sistematización y análisis de la información, se realizaron a través de una matriz de categorización, en la que se clasificó cada fragmento de respuesta según las categorías y subcategorías del presente estudio. De esta manera, se encontró que el apego inseguro predominó en los tres participantes, identificándose con mayor fuerza el estilo evitativo en dos de ellos y el estilo ambivalente-ansioso en uno. Se concluye que existe una relación importante entre el apego inseguro y la conducta suicida, ya que se evidenciaron características de la forma en que se construyen los apegos de este tipo, asociados a factores que pueden predisponer a la aparición de la conducta suicida. |

A qualitative methodology was used, under the case study method since it allows obtaining detailed information about the experiences and perceptions of adolescents in relation to attachment and suicidal behavior. The sample was made up of three students from different educational institutions in the municipality of Apartadó between 14 and 18 years old, chosen by convenience. To collect information, an in-depth interview was conducted in which questions were asked about the categories studied and the relationship between the two. Regarding the systematization and analysis of the information, they were carried out through a categorization matrix, in which each response fragment was classified according to the categories and subcategories of the present study. In this way, it was found that insecure attachment predominated in the three participants, with the avoidant style being identified more strongly in two of them and the ambivalent-anxious style in one.
