Se concluye que las áreas de mangle, pese a su relevancia ecológica, no están recibiendo la protección ni el manejo adecuados. Esto se debe a la afectación de la zona por construcciones y actividades que contravienen la normativa vigente, así como a la insuficiencia o ineficacia de las acciones institucionales para garantizar el cumplimiento de dichas disposiciones. |

To this end, a review of the regulations in force in the municipality in relation to mangroves is carried out, the positions and actions adopted by the institutional actors responsible for territorial planning are described, and strategies aimed at the protection and sustainable use of these reserves are proposed. from a territorial planning perspective.
