RESUMEN: Objetivo: comprender el sentido que dan personas con diferencias corporales a su experiencia de cuerpo en la práctica del ciclismo recreativo. Metodología: enfoque hermenéutico-narrativo que asume las experiencias de los cuerpos diferentes como texto por medio de la palabra. Hallazgos: los sentidos que dieron las dos personas indagadas a la experiencia de cuerpo en el ciclismo recreativo, se develan a través del sentido de independencia, el descubrimiento, el conocimiento del cuerpo y el encuentro con los otros. Conclusiones: fue importante la transformación de la mirada de la diferencia, dada por el encuentro con el cuerpo, posibilitarse el límite y finalmente, el descubrimiento por parte de los participantes sobre el haber sentido miradas que cuestionan, de asombro y que trascienden el cuerpo. |

Methodology: hermeneutic-narrative approach that assumes the experiences of different bodies as a text by means of the word. Findings: the senses given by the two surveyed people to the experience of body in recreational cycling are unveiled through the sense of independence, discovery, recognition of their body and the meeting with others.
