La presente investigación aborda, los cambios que se generan en la vida cotidiana de los habitantes de Jardín a raíz de la creciente actividad turística del municipio. Se adquieren características poco tradicionales en el espacio físico, así como formas excluyentes en la apropiación de los espacios, elementos que contribuyen a configurar y fortalecer ambientes funcionales para el turismo. Por otro lado, aunque esto genera ingresos económicos para el municipio, no cuenta con la participación directa de la comunidad de Jardín en cuanto a las estrategias que se llevan a cabo a partir del turismo, ya que estas son de índole comercial, en este sentido se ve descuidada la parte de preservación de la cultura y por ende se transforma la cotidianidad de la comunidad. De acuerdo con esto, la comunicación para el cambio social puede ser un referente para proporcionar procesos de participación y dar posibles soluciones en torno a estos temas. |

As tourism expands, it breaks into the social and cultural practices of the place. Untraditional characteristics are acquired in the physical space, as well as exclusionary forms in the appropriation of spaces, elements that contribute to configure and strengthen functional environments for tourism. On the other hand, although this generates economic income for the municipality, it does not have the direct participation of the Garden community in terms of the strategies that are carried out from tourism, since these are of a commercial nature, in this sense the preservation part of the culture is neglected and therefore the daily life of the community is transformed.
