Similarity among zones was high; exchange among zones was moderate as shown by the reciprocal value of beta diversity with the two indexes used (DBW = 62%, DBR = 68%). The diversity of the Ephemeroptera community found in each zone was relatively high.

Foram encontradas 22 táxons, sete familias e 19 gêneros. Bernerius, Cloeodes, Mayobaetis, Atopophlebia, Farrodes, Haplohyphes, e Homothraulus constituem-se em primerios registros para Antioquia; os gêneros Bernerius, Mayobaetis e Homothraulus são citados pela primeira vez para Colômbia. A comunidade encontrada na zona de vida premontana foi diferente das outras. A similaridade entre as zonas foi alta, e o intercambio de táxons entre elas foi moderado, segundo os resultados dos dois índices usados para calcular a Beta-diversidade (DBW = 62%, DBR = 68%).
