A partir de estas reflexiones, pretendo efectuar un progreso en el estudio de la gestación y proceso de desarrollo del género a principios del siglo en Colombia. |

For them, it has to put the accent on the periodicals as a source of frequent use in the twentieth century and the analysis of their function in the establishment and unfolding of the genre is necessary. To this end, I have undertaken the study of a particular magazine: La Novela Semanal (The Weekly Novel), which I present below a review that contains the physical description of the periodical, general characteristics, elements of its existence, contributors and published works, resulting in the analysis of the impact of the short story on it.
