RESUMEN: Evaluar la problemática de violencia de género y entre generaciones en un resguardo indígena Embera. Metodología. Enfoque de Investigación Acción Participativa, orientado por perspectiva epistemológica de la Teoría Crítica, realizado en una comunidad Embera del departamento de Antioquia, Colombia Énfasis participativo, trabajo por encuentros y talleres centrados en problemas de salud identificados con los participantes indígenas. Resultados. Existe una preocupación creciente de la comunidad por aumento del maltrato entre hombres y mujeres, el distanciamiento y la desvalorización de las relaciones entre generaciones, y la pérdida de la identidad propia por la exposición a la cultura occidental. Problema invisibilizado y sostenido por la crianza y la educación recibida y brindada a las nuevas generaciones y por el papel de gobernantes y líderes en el cumplimiento de normas de equidad entre géneros y generaciones. Conclusión. La violencia entre géneros y generaciones es un problema de salud y educación que está afectando el bienestar de la comunidad Embera estudiada. |

La violencia entre géneros y generaciones es un problema de salud y educación que está afectando el bienestar de la comunidad Embera estudiada.ABSTRACT: To assess gender violence and between generations in an Embera Indigenous reservation. Methodology. Participative Action Research Approach guided by epistemological perspective of Critical Theory, held in an Embera community of Antioquia, Colombia. Participative emphasis, meetings and workshops focused on health problems identified with the Indigenous participants. Results. There is a growing concern in the community for increased abuse between men and women, distancing and devaluation of relations between generations, and the loss of identity due to exposure to the western culture. Problem invisibilized and supported by the upbringing and education received and provided to the new generations, and the governors and leaders role in the compliance of equity rules between genders and generations. Conclusion.
