RESUMEN: En el marco del campo laboral actual, en donde se incluye el sector de la salud, han venido en aumento las investigaciones sobre los diferentes componentes de la relación empleado - organización y uno de ellos, es la satisfacción laboral. En una encuesta realizada a más de 12mil empleados por la Contraloría General de Colombia en el año 2020, en donde se tomaron en cuenta diversas profesiones del área de la salud, entre ellas la Instrumentación Quirúrgica, reglamentada como profesión por la Ley 784 de 2002, se revelo que desde que llego la pandemia de COVID-19, más del 90% de los encuestados no gozan de buenas condiciones laborales. Por ende, se hace necesario analizar la satisfacción que tienen los profesionales en Instrumentación Quirúrgica del área asistencial en hospitales de tercer y cuarto nivel de complejidad en Medellín frente a sus condiciones laborales durante el año 2022, mediante un estudio con enfoque de tipo cuantitativo, puesto que se utiliza un instrumento de medición basado en la calificación numérica de la escala de Likert del Cuestionario de satisfacción laboral S20/23 de Meliá y Peiró . Los resultados indican que el 60% de los encuestados se encuentran satisfechos frente sus condiciones laborales, además, el 33,33% de la muestra se encuentran en el nivel de “bastante satisfecho” de la escala de Likert propuesta. Finalmente, se encontró que hay una superioridad de personas en el nivel de bastante satisfechas en la institución de tercer nivel con respecto a las de cuarto nivel de complejidad. |

In a survey applied to more than 12,000 employees of the "Contraloria General" in Colombia in 2020; some professions related to the health area were taken into account, including Surgical Assistant, which was regulated as a profession by 784 Law of 2002. With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was revealed that more than 90% of the participants do not enjoy good working conditions. Due to this situation, it is necessary to analyze the satisfaction the professionals in Surgical Assistance have, especially those who work in the care area in hospitals of third and fourth level complexity in Medellin, it was known regarding their working conditions during the year 2022, through a study with a quantitative approach, which is based on a numerical rating measurement instrument as the Likert scale of the Meliá and Peiró S20/23 Job Satisfaction Questionnaire. The results indicate that 60% of the respondents are satisfied with their working conditions, in addition, 33.33% of the sample are at the "fairly satisfied" level of the proposed Likert scale.
