En la actualidad, se encuentra en las obras especializadas sobre el tema, una cantidad de metodologías y teorías que buscan explicar el fenómeno como tal, configurando una amplia variedad y poco consenso sobre su estudio. En esa heterogeneidad, el sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu, es usado para estudiar la movilidad social, ya sea a partir de su teoría de capitales o desde el concepto de habitus (entre otros), lo que resulta incongruente, puesto que, el francés, es un crítico del fenómeno debido a que aduce por una teoría de la reproducción social en contra posición. Sobre este último argumento, este trabajo busca comprender la obra de Pierre Bourdieu, para así, proponer una visión de movilidad social que dialogue con su postura crítica, a la vez que apropie su riqueza conceptual para formular un modelo que permita estudiarla. La metodología empleada para tal fin, es de carácter cualitativo con el uso de la teoría fundamentada para que emerja una mejor interpretación y apropiación de los conceptos estudiados. Su mayor conclusión, es entender que la movilidad social es un asunto de disputa y negociación, en donde la relación agente/capitales/campo (persona/recursos/contexto) tiene el papel de ser habilitador o cohibidor de los recursos que apropie el agente, que a consecuencia, transforma sus condiciones de vida o las reproduce. Esto, ocurre en un marco multidimensional que se aleja de la perspectiva funcionalista y agrega dimensiones, sociales y culturales, revestidas desde lo objetivo y subjetivo que pueda experimentar las personas. |

At present, there are in specialized works on the subject, a number of methodologies and theories that seek to explain the phenomenon as such, configuring a wide variety and little consensus on its study. In this heterogeneity, the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu is used to study social mobility, either from his theory of capitals or from the concept of habitus (among others), which is incongruous, since the French is a critical of the phenomenon because it argues for a theory of social reproduction against the position. On this last argument, this work seeks to understand the work of Pierre Bourdieu, in order to propose a vision of social mobility that dialogues with his critical stance, while appropriating its conceptual richness to formulate a model that allows studying it.
