Se empleó un enfoque cualitativo que permitió el abordaje y análisis de los resultados obtenidos a partir de entrevistas y encuestas realizadas en las comunidades, de las que se obtuvieron hallazgos que permitieron acercarse a problemáticas que evidencian la falta de acompañamiento institucional y una discontinuidad con los procesos y proyectos que desde estas instancias se generan, lo que sitúa a estas poblaciones dentro de las cifras de inseguridad alimentaria del país. Por esta razón, es necesario incentivar la realización de estudios dirigidos a que estas comunidades perciban los efectos del cambio climático e implementen estrategias de adaptación y mitigación que las acerque a establecer una seguridad alimentaria.

A qualitative approach was used that allowed the approach and analysis of the results obtained from interviews and surveys carried out in the communities, from which some findings were obtained that allowed approaching problems that show the lack of institutional support and a discontinuity with the processes and projects generated from these instances, which places these populations within the figures of food insecurity in the country.
