Esta monografía trata de escudriñar en la memoria de las víctimas de la violencia paramilitar y también de algunos habitantes, sobre aquella época de violencia, recordada como la “época brava”, tiempo en que los paramilitares se asentaron en varios puntos de Guarne y dirigieron sus operaciones antisubversivas contra los grupos guerrilleros y la población civil. Se pregunta también por los métodos para ejercer violencia, donde por medio del miedo y del terror se buscó controlar social, militar y moralmente a la población. |

It is about the paramilitary social control to which the people who habited this municipality from 1997 to 2006 were subjected. This monograph tries to scrutinize the memory of the victims of paramilitary violence and also of some habitants, about that time of violence, remembered as the “brave epoch”, time in which the paramilitaries settled in various points of Guarne and directed their anti-subversive operations against the guerrilla groups and the civilian population.
