El estado del arte : una metodología de investigación

ABSTRACT: This work aims to show the main findings about the concept of state of the art, after the review and analysis of databases texts of the four principal universities of Medellin that have psychology program; through a qualitative design and interpretation, of documental type, which focused on the following analysis categories: state of the art’s definition, state of the art’s history, purpose-objectives-purpose of the state of the art, method-technical-strategies, conceptions-theories and theoretical or representatives. The research process was mainly aimed at establishing the concept of state of the art in a documentary sample. Among the findings is highlighted that the state of the art is a qualitative-documentary research methodology with a critical interpretative character that reviews the writing production by people in their bibliographic representation, consisting of three phases: planning, design and management and analysis, formalization and development. Instruments like analytical and content literature matrixes are useful for this methodology.
