RESUMEN : El proyecto cinturón verde del Altiplano es una propuesta enfocada a la creación de una red de conectividad ecológica entre los elementos estructurantes de los municipios de El Carmen de Viboral, El Retiro, El Santuario, Guarne, La Ceja, La Unión, Rionegro, San Vicente y Marinilla, localizados en el Valle de San Nicolás, Altiplano del Oriente de Antioquia, Colombia. Esta propuesta surge como respuesta a los efectos del crecimiento acelerado en la ocupación del suelo rural y la fragmentación de la vegetación natural remanente en la región. En primera instancia, para la formulación del proyecto se aborda el marco normativo relacionado con las entidades territoriales y ambientales de la región, incluyendo el ámbito nacional, departamental y regional. Posteriormente, se desarrolla el análisis estratégico de los sistemas estructurantes, compuesto por los espacios físico-naturales y antrópicos. Por último, el proyecto plantea la creación y articulación de tres ejes estratégicos asociados a la red verde, los núcleos de producción sostenible y el sistema vial, presentando en cada uno de estos los lineamientos para la formulación de planes y programas que permitan consolidar el cinturón verde del Altiplano, orientado al desarrollo sustentable y sostenible de la región. |

This proposal arises in response to the effects of accelerated growth in the occupation of rural land and the fragmentation of the remaining natural vegetation in the region. In the first instance, for the formulation of the project, the regulatory framework related to the territorial and environmental entities of the region is addressed, including the national, departmental, and regional scopes. Subsequently, the strategic analysis of the structuring systems is developed, composed of physical-natural and anthropic spaces.
