Transitar lo Binario: Experiencia Subjetiva del Género No Binario en el Contexto de las Relaciones Familiares

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo de grado tuvo como objetivo comprender y aproximarse a las experiencias y realidades subjetivas de la construcción de género de las personas no binarias en el contexto familiar. Para ello, se realizó una recolección de información con cuatro personas identificadas como no binarias, utilizando una metodología cualitativa mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas. De la/e/os cuatro personas entrevistades, una reside en el municipio de Yarumal (Antioquia), mientras que les otres tres se encuentran en la ciudad de Medellín (Antioquia). La investigación confirma que los procesos de construcción identitaria para les personas no binarias continúan siendo profundamente influenciados por los contextos socioculturales en los que se desarrollan, incluyendo el entorno familiar, educativo, social, laboral y religioso, los cuales siguen siendo espacios de represión que dificultan su afirmación identitaria. No obstante, se observa que estas personas han emprendido procesos de transición que les han permitido sentirse más libres y auténticas, resignificando sus identidades. Además, se concluye que la construcción de identidades no binarias es un proceso dinámico y fluido que no tiene fin, y que dichas identidades, construidas desde el ser, representan una apuesta política y de resistencia frente a las normas sociales patriarcales. ABSTRACT: The aim of this thesis was to understand and explore the subjective experiences and realities of gender construction among non-binary individuals within the family context. To achieve this, information was collected from four individuals who identify as non-binary, using a qualitative methodology through semi-structured interviews. Of the four people interviewed, one resides in the municipality of Yarumal (Antioquia), while the other three are in the city of Medellín (Antioquia). The research confirms that the processes of identity construction for non-binary people continue to be deeply influenced by the sociocultural contexts in which they develop, including family, educational, social, work, and religious environments, which remain spaces of repression that hinder their identity affirmation. However, it is observed that these individuals have embarked on processes of transition that have allowed them to feel freer and more authentic, re-signifying their identities. Additionally, it is concluded that the construction of non-binary identities is a dynamic and fluid process with no end, and that these identities, constructed from the self, represent a political and resistant stance against patriarchal social norms.
