RESUMEN : El principal objetivo del proyecto es la implementación de un programa de educación ambiental centrado en la correcta gestión de residuos orgánicos en Euro Frontera. Los residuos orgánicos representan una fracción significativa de los desechos diarios producidos por el supermercado, por lo que se debe abordar el tema de manera eficiente. Este programa busca mejorar la gestión de estos residuos, promoviendo una cultura ambiental activa y consciente. Se reconoce la educación ambiental como una herramienta clave para sensibilizar sobre la importancia de la gestión adecuada de residuos y para fomentar una cultura ecológica, la correcta disposición y disminución de residuos orgánicos no solo contribuirá al bienestar ambiental, sino que también generará beneficios económicos y sociales para el supermercado y la comunidad circundante. Las actividades que se llevaron a cabo incluyen la caracterización de los residuos orgánicos, la evaluación de métodos actuales de gestión, la propuesta de estrategias de reducción y reciclaje, y la implementación de un plan de educación ambiental que permita aumentar la conciencia ambiental. |

Organic waste represents a significant portion of the daily waste produced by the supermarket, making it essential to address this issue efficiently. This program aims to improve the management of organic waste by promoting an active and conscious environmental culture. Environmental education is recognized as a key tool to raise awareness about the importance of proper waste management and to foster an ecological culture. Proper disposal and reduction of organic waste will not only contribute to environmental well-being but also generate economic and social benefits for the supermarket and the surrounding community.
