RESUMEN: El artículo desarrolla una reflexión teórica sobre uno de los ejes centrales de la problemática de las víctimas: el testimonio o las narrativas de la(s)memoria(s). En la segunda parte, apoyada fundamentalmente en Ricoeur, se hace una análisis en torno al carácter narrativo del testimonio. Y en la tercera, y última parte, sobre la base del trabajo de tres autoras latinoamericanas, E. Jelin,C.Feld y L.Da Silva Catela, se propone una construcción metodológica del «acto de testimoniar» en contextos marcados por la guerra y la violencia. |

In a firstmoment it addresses some aspects that help to clarify the possibilities and limitations of these narratives since their antecedents,which pass fromthe «act of testifying» to clarifying their political potential and their place in the public arena. In the second part, supported fundamentally by Ricoeur, the author presents an analysis on the narrative character of testimony. In the third and last part on the basis ofwork done by three Latin-American authors, E. Jelin, C.
