Summary: | OBJECTIVE. To evaluate the health promoter life profile of pregnant women enrolled in a prenatal control program of an ESE in the city of Montería in the second semester of 2022. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A study with a cross-sectional descriptive quantitative approach was carried out, the study population consisted of 857 pregnant women, a sample of 266 pregnant women was taken by random sampling stratified into 4 strata, who answered the questionnaire of sociodemographic and clinical characteristics and the Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile. Second Spanish version. RESULTS. 78.95% of the pregnant women were young, 42.10% are high school graduates and 64.66% are housewives. 50% of pregnant women have had 2 to 3 previous pregnancies. 69.5% always attend parental check-ups. The best evaluated health promoting life profile of pregnant women was spiritual growth (mean of 2.68) followed by responsibility in health (mean of 2.63) and interpersonal relationships (mean of 2.60), while physical activity obtained the lowest mean score (mean 1.81). CONCLUSIONS. The dimensions with the lowest score obtained are those that are addressed in a specific and comprehensive way in the maternal-perinatal route, therefore, it gives us an overview that the interventions of the route are not being adequately implemented, instead the dimensions that are They address but in a less detailed way are the ones that surprisingly obtained the best score, such as spiritual growth. |
