| Summary: | This text is based on and focused on the analysis and identification of Hedge Funds or Hedge Funds, which are the most popular means of investment in the international financial market. This type of fund is characterized by its high degree of freedom in the management of its assets and for carrying out risk hedging strategies; the structuring of the fund can be an efficient investment alternative due to the use of strategies that mitigate risk and promote profitability. The body of the document is made up of three chapters where the basic and general concepts that help us understand the nature and operating system of hedge funds are exposed. In the same way, the incidence of Hedge Funds in Colombia is evidenced during a period of time (2017 - 2021) and the most relevant events in those years. |
