The deficiency of test benches to carry out practical and/or laboratory tests prevents the concept sor fundamentals, in this case, related to Mechanical Engineering from being more easily understood. Therefore, it is essential that laboratories are supplied for a better academic experience and professional devepment. Following the guidelines of the Project methodology used to develop the Project, base don a four-step process diagram with ther respective activities. The design, construction and delivery with a didactic guide of a lowcost test bench related to fluid mechanics was obtained, emphasizing the calculations of the hydrostatic pressure generated by liquids on submerged flat walls. The results show a relationship betwenn the wáter level, pressure and generated hydrostatic forcé that is representad by graphs as a function of the wáter level. The prototype consists o fan acrylic container that rotates with respect to an axis and rests on an L-type galvanized metal support, generating rotational moments with respect to 20 g weights of lead material. This implies that with the development of the test bank, benefits are obtained in terms of research by teachers and students, improvement of facilities and academic growth.
