| Summary: | The project is based on the integrated management of cultural ecosystem services in the upper basin of the Teusacá River, which is a relevant site for its water resources and its cultural importance for the surrounding communities. The main objective was to evaluate the relationship between the physical-chemical parameters of water and the cultural ecosystem services offered by the basin, such as recreational activities, aesthetic perception and spirituality, managing these factors within sustainable strategies that promote the conservation of water resources. To achieve this objective, measurements were taken at eight points in the watershed, based on indicators of the Water Quality Index (ICA) to finally develop a correlation matrix between these parameters and the perception of the community regarding ecosystem services. In addition, a sound art piece was created to allow the community to interact with the acoustic environment of the watershed, in order to raise awareness of the cultural richness of the river. |
