Description
Summary:Listening is one of the most important communication skills in the educational field because it makes possible the understanding and assimilation of the communication situations that are generated in the school environment and outside it, however, it is evident that this little has been encouraged in said context, considering that the human being is innate. Therefore, the researchers project as a central objective to demonstrate how listening improves the teaching-learning processes and interpersonal relationships of 7th grade students at Palermo de San José and Monseñor Ernesto Gómez Echeverri schools.Qualitative research is used and two sources are considered, a primary source where the evidence of information provided by students and collected through direct observation and systematization of methodological strategies evidenced in field journals are estimated, and a secondary school that assumes the testimonies provided by students, teachers and parents, through semi-structured interviews. The results obtained in the development of the investigation, allow to verify that indeed the listening is a key factor in the school and in the processes that are developed there, either with regard to teaching-learning or referring to interpersonal relationships. Finally, it is recommended that the school be empowered to strengthen listening at school, considering the benefits that this brings to the training process
