Summary: | In the process of making a theory about an architectural project is fundamental to sustain the work in the study and analysis of one or several architectural works, in order to express the themes and aspects that want to be argued, emphasized or proven. After the didactic proposal of the elective curse of the III cycle of the Master in Architecture: “Stability and Transformation in architecture. The houses by Fernando Martínez Sanabria.” Teacher: Andres Erazo, which proposes to analyze an architectural edification having only as input images from any publication, and with a great particular interest of the author, in the specific theme of housing, it was chosen the Unidad Residencial Santiago de Cali –URESA–, the first residential unit built in the city of Cali (Valle del Cauca – Colombia) in the year of 1971, in order to identify these fundamental aspects that allows a good understanding of its formal and spatial characteristics, while confirming at the same time, a useful methodology for further analysis of architectural projects. |
