Summary: | This research aimed to identify, evaluate, and analyze both protective and risk psychosocial factors associated with labor, that are particular to the employees with different sorts of con-tracts in a private university in Cali, Colombia. The descriptive study collects information from the application via email of the ISTAS 21 to 1,290 subjects who participated voluntarily and fully answered the questionnaire. As a result, seven risk factors were identified such as the possibility of social relationships, sensory psychological demands, cognitive psychological de-mands, insecurity, self-esteem, working time control, and emotion hiding, as well as seven protective factors like sense of work, sense of belonging with the institution, development opportunities, role awareness, leadership quality, social support, and reinforcement. |
