El artículo pretende iluminar la realidad de la violencia nacional y mundial desde la perspectiva del Salmo 140. Se desarrolla en cuatro partes: en la primera se exponen y analizan las principales dificultades filológicas y textuales del salmo 140 y se propone una solución con base en los argumentos allí expuestos. En la segunda parte se presenta la estructura del salmo y los elementos en los que se funda. La tercera parte contiene la exégesis del texto, de acuerdo, especialmente, al método sincrónico de análisis literario y narrativo. La cuarta parte consiste en la conclusión que presenta la síntesis de los principales elementos teológicos que emergen del análisis exegético. |

It is developed in four parts:The first section presents and analyzes the main philological and textual difficulties of Psalm 140 and a solution based on the arguments presented there is proposed. In the second part the structure of the psalm is presented as well as the elements on which it is based. The third part contains the exegesis of the text according to, especially, the synchronous method of literary and narrative analysis.
