| Summary: | The purpose of this article is to make a brief historical review about the incursion and the development of multinational companies –EMN– in Cali, from the first, in the decade of the 40s of the 20th century, until today. This cannot be done without taking into consideration the difficulties of obtaining documental sources that gather a management record of the region in a wide and precise way, which is, to some degree, an intellectual debt for this history. The present exercise of documental analysis is part of a wider research that looks for the work and social trajectory of professionals involved in EMN in Cali. |
