| Summary: | This article tries to show the importance of using ecological farming practices, based on the way that a conventional livestock can become in an ecological one and how long can it take in being converted, showing how it can get to be an ecological certification and what kind of ecological farmers are. The work is theoretical-descriptive. The result to be achieved is to get to identify the advantages of designing and implementing a livestock production system; complying with environmental sustainability criteria, so that quality goods are produced, obtained from animals kept with a high level of welfare, which properly utilize natural resources and trying not to affect the physic-chemical characteristic of the soil. |
