Description
Summary:This Project was developed focusing on the strengthening of the buying procedures for Godot Restaurant. This company is currently redesigning some of its processes seeking to reduce costs. To determine the feasible aspect of strengthening we apply a diagnosis that showed flaws and opportunities of improvement. Starting from this result we propose a plan of action based in the purchase management matrix of Peter Kraljic, that was adapted to punctual needs of the restaurant. In relation with the matrix, we identify procedures to bolster, like providers, planning procedures in the supply and management of strategic and routine products. To stablish viability of the study a one month pilot test was implemented yielding positive results regarding the achievement of the proposed objective, evidencing the relevance of the matrix of Kraljic for the strengthening of a strategic process such as purchasing management
