| Summary: | Increasing maritime traffic; berthing of vessels and container flows it raises an issue that affects all of us because it threatens the marine environment of the Bay of Cartagena. It becomes imperative to analyze the aspects that can have an impact on the Bay and determine the importance of prevention of impacts. The work is a theoretical kind thoughtful and based on a descriptive documentary research based on official figures, specialist documents and expert testimony on the subject. The result of the investigation shows that while it is true that Colombia Cartagena and as such has adopted a legal framework to prevent potential environmental impacts is clearly highlight that it is not prepared to accept the consequences of impacts |
