description The following work has performed work and the experience gained by agroindustrialSan Buenaventura University engineering program student Nicolas Henao Tobónsectional Cali; During his period of practice University (June 8, 2015-8 December 2015) PORCÃO farm located in Yumbo -Valle del Cauca, which belongs to the company CERVALLE S.A; which is dedicated to the production and marketing of meat of pork.The work describes in detail aspects that must be considered in each of the areas ofthe farm, especially in gestation; Since that is inseminated sow, until the office of(male or emale) pig for slaughter plant, which is located in Cavasa in the municipality of candelaria (Valle del Cauca). During this time the student gave an accompanying technical veterinarian in everything related to the evaluation of the processes which should lead each one of the areas, taking into account the parameters required by the company to each of their farms. Applying this way all knowledge, concepts and techniques acquiredduring the career of agro-industrial engineering.

Applying this way all knowledge, concepts and techniques acquiredduring the career of agro-industrial engineering.El siguiente trabajo cuenta las labores desempeñadas y la experiencia adquirida por el estudiante Nicolas Henao Tobón del programa de ingeniería agroindustrial de la universidad San Buenaventura seccional Cali; durante su periodo de practica universitaria (8 de junio del 2015-8 de diciembre del 2015) en la granja PORCAO ubicada en Yumbo-Valle del cauca, perteneciente a la empresa CERVALLE S.A; la cual se dedica a la producción y comercialización de la carne de cerdo. El trabajo describe detalladamente diversos aspectos que se deben tener en cuenta en cada una de las áreas de acompañamiento a la granja, especialmente en gestación; desde que es inseminada la cerda, hasta que se realiza el despacho del cerdo (macho y/o hembra) para la planta de sacrificio, la cual está ubicada en Cavasa en el municipio de candelaria (Valle Del Cauca). Durante este tiempo el estudiante brindó un técnico veterinario en todo lo relacionado con la evaluación de los procesos que debe llevar cada una de las áreas, teniendo en cuenta los parámetros exigidos por la empresa a cada una de sus granjas.
