description |
The main objective of this research is to analyze in detail the behavior of the FMEA screening instrument in neurotypical adolescents between the ages of 12 and 16. For this purpose, we seek to obtain precise and relevant information that allows making the necessary adjustments to the items, inputs and application times of the instrument. To achieve this, a piloting process will be carried out, which will consist of the application of the FMEA instrument adapted to a representative sample of neurotypical adolescents in the aforementioned age range. During this phase, data related to the participants' performance on each item of the instrument will be recorded, as well as the times required to complete it. The results indicate that all items had high levels of clarity and understanding, while a higher percentage of need for repetition was present in the items that evaluate executive functioning. Regarding performance, the participants had very low levels in attention and memory and low scores in executive functioning and total cognitive performance. Further studies should consider the recommendations made in this research, as well as the validation of the instrument prior to piloting and the incorporation of a more representative sample, which would improve the reliability of the data and increase the level of generalization of the results |

Further studies should consider the recommendations made in this research, as well as the validation of the instrument prior to piloting and the incorporation of a more representative sample, which would improve the reliability of the data and increase the level of generalization of the resultsEl objetivo principal de esta investigación fue analizar detalladamente el comportamiento del instrumento de tamizaje AMFE en adolescentes neurotípicos de edades entre los 12 y los 16 años.
