Description
Summary:The main objective of this project was to describe the relationship between family support, academic motivation and academic performance in elementary students between the ages of 10 and 12 years in a district institution in the city of Cartagena, was conducted with a sample of 59 underage students, through a procedure not probabilistic for convenience. In order to obtain the data, the questionnaire Apoyo Familiar de Bazán (2007) was applied, in the same way, the EMPA questionnaire was used, this being a motivational evaluation questionnaire of the learning process. Finally, for Academic Performance, the arithmetic average of the grades or record of consolidated grades of the academic period being studied in the first academic semester of 2019-1 was used. Following this line, the results obtained in this research showed that for the family support variable a perception of average family support on the part of the children was identified, for the academic motivation variable a level of average academic motivation was identified, finally for the academic performance a result was obtained in which it was identified that the evaluated sample is in an average academic level
