Summary: | The city of Medellín is taken as a vulnerable environment in the environmental field in front of the economic, cultural and social activities of the place, which are configured as nuclei of contamination of the environment; Therefore, when carrying out the urban planning and design processes, the environmental component must be incorporated both constructively, as well as in its design and use. For this reason, sustainability strategies will be implemented, where the mitigation of these impacts is sought through an adequate choice of materials, orientation and form of buildings, as well as an increase in green areas in the city, achieving eco-efficiency in urban design, having a low impact in relation to the landscape, and an adequate development of public space, thus reinterpreting the guidelines of the Partial Plan by generating new design premises for the redensification of the city center, incorporating urban climatology criteria to understand the relationship between planning, urban design and climate and its influence on thermal comfort and urban microclimate. |
