Description
Summary:This article presents the most relevant conclusions of the investigation “Notions, processes and healing practices in mental health with the community Nasa of Toribío”, which searches the underlying logics in the work of the psychologists in relation to the strategies of intervention in the community. Also, it states the discussion about the position of the professional before his necessity to get involved with the symbolic reference of those he is intended to work with. The findings demonstrate that the application of a discipline as a must, as well as the ideal of health and security promoted by the State and the NGO, leads to cultural fi ghts that prevent the advance of the projects proposed and question their objectives and accomplishments.
