description El Centro de Pensamiento Ambiental, CPA, surge de la necesidad de recrear un espacio donde se eduque a la comunidad en general acerca de la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente; ubicado en el departamento del Quindío, en el cual los habitantes del lugar como también los turistas o habitantes itinerantes podrán reconocer e identificar las falencias ambientales del departamento, y a nivel general, se inducirán a cooperar de manera correcta con el medio ambiente para su preservación, conservación y cuidado. A través de un recorrido en el cual se identifica una estructura sustentable aplicada principalmente a las condiciones ambientales, climáticas y demográficas del departamento Quindío, a través de una educación ambiental enfocada en la adquisición de conocimiento ecológico y cultural, aplicado a la cotidianidad de la vida del ser humano. Alcanzando aspectos como la contaminación producto de la diferentes sectores profesionales y su afectación al medio ambiente; y, la aplicación de la investigación de alternativas de mitigación y compensación. En este sentido, se desarrolla un diseño que aplique los conceptos comunicados en los aspectos funcional del proyecto, demostrando la viabilidad constructiva y la correcta interpretación de los aspectos bioclimáticos utilizados en el diseño de la pieza arquitectónica.

Through a journey in which a sustainable structure is identified applied mainly to the environmental, climatic and demographic conditions of the department Quindío, through an environmental education focused on the acquisition of ecological and cultural knowledge, applied to the everyday life of the human being. Reaching points such as the pollution produced by the different professional sectors and their impact on the environment, the application of research of mitigation and compensation alternatives.
