Summary:This paper describes the methodology for the realization, structuring and implementation of the Animal Welfare program, which in turn forms the Environmental Management System (EMS) implemented by the Corporate/Environmental Legal area of the company Cervalle S.A., a company in charge of the entire pig production chain, with the final product being the trade of pork in different presentations. For the company Cervalle S.A., the trade of the best quality pork is of vital importance, all this taking into account parameters of time, weight and proper food handling, resulting in a product of excellent quality. The importance of the implementation of the Environmental Management System in the company and each of its programs generates a cleaner and more efficient production chain. In this paper, the steps to follow in the program are structured taking into account each of the productive stages of the pig, its times, the handling tools for the pig, the handling and transportation of each of the pigs in its stages.
