Description
Summary:The operations in the marine platforms involve risks that can be identified and mitigated by using analysis techniques such as; BOW TIE, HAZOP and HAZID. The present degree work the applicabilities of the three techniques are analyzed and identified, initially describing the bow tie hazard analysis technique in the incident that occurred on the Deep Water Horizon platform, then explains the implementation of the technique of HAZOP risk assessment in the implementation of the process of injecting methanol to offshore a gas wellhead, and finally, will detail the implementation of the technique HAZID where are identified the dangers that owns the offshore oil and gas, identified common causes and consequences, among the accidents that stand out in the industry, also proposed a series of recommendations that will help to contribute to the prevention and minimization of future accidents. This Work It is part of a type of descriptive research, with qualitative approach where its development is based on primary and secondary sources in the area of security of processes, of the year’s corresponding to the incidents and accidents of the marine platforms, as well as also references the five years where current techniques were applied to work. Within the main results it is important to highlight the lack of organizational security, and deficiency in training, monitoring and inspection of security programs which generates the failures of physical protection systems that cause accidents
