Este estudio examina el Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos (ABP) mediante una revisión documental con enfoque metodológico cualitativo. La investigación se centra en la recopilación y análisis de artículos, libros y estudios previos sobre ABP, proporcionando una visión comprehensiva de sus beneficios, desafíos y mejores prácticas. El objetivo principal es identificar cómo el ABP contribuye al desarrollo de habilidades críticas en los estudiantes, como la resolución de problemas, el pensamiento crítico y la colaboración. Los resultados indican que el ABP promueve un aprendizaje más profundo y significativo, además de fomentar la motivación y el compromiso estudiantil. Sin embargo, también se destacan desafíos como la necesidad de formación docente y la integración curricular. A través de la revisión documental, se observó que los contextos educativos que adoptan ABP requieren un cambio en la metodología tradicional, implicando a docentes y estudiantes en un proceso de aprendizaje activo y participativo. Este estudio concluye que, a pesar de las dificultades, el ABP es una metodología efectiva que puede transformar la educación si se implementa adecuadamente. Los hallazgos proporcionan una base sólida para futuras investigaciones y aplicaciones prácticas en entornos educativos diversos. Además, se sugiere que futuras investigaciones exploren las estrategias para superar los desafíos identificados y mejorar la implementación del ABP en diferentes contextos educativos. Se recomienda también evaluar el impacto a largo plazo del ABP en el desempeño académico y profesional de los estudiantes, así como en su capacidad para adaptarse a entornos de trabajo colaborativos y dinámicos. |

La investigación se centra en la recopilación y análisis de artículos, libros y estudios previos sobre ABP, proporcionando una visión comprehensiva de sus beneficios, desafíos y mejores prácticas. El objetivo principal es identificar cómo el ABP contribuye al desarrollo de habilidades críticas en los estudiantes, como la resolución de problemas, el pensamiento crítico y la colaboración. Los resultados indican que el ABP promueve un aprendizaje más profundo y significativo, además de fomentar la motivación y el compromiso estudiantil. Sin embargo, también se destacan desafíos como la necesidad de formación docente y la integración curricular. A través de la revisión documental, se observó que los contextos educativos que adoptan ABP requieren un cambio en la metodología tradicional, implicando a docentes y estudiantes en un proceso de aprendizaje activo y participativo. Este estudio concluye que, a pesar de las dificultades, el ABP es una metodología efectiva que puede transformar la educación si se implementa adecuadamente. Los hallazgos proporcionan una base sólida para futuras investigaciones y aplicaciones prácticas en entornos educativos diversos. Además, se sugiere que futuras investigaciones exploren las estrategias para superar los desafíos identificados y mejorar la implementación del ABP en diferentes contextos educativos. Se recomienda también evaluar el impacto a largo plazo del ABP en el desempeño académico y profesional de los estudiantes, así como en su capacidad para adaptarse a entornos de trabajo colaborativos y dinámicos.This study examines Project-Based Learning (PBL) through a qualitative methodological approach using a documentary review design. The research focuses on collecting and analyzing articles, books, and previous studies on PBL, providing a comprehensive overview of its benefits, challenges, and best practices. The main objective is to identify how PBL contributes to the development of critical skills in students, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration. The results indicate that PBL promotes deeper and more meaningful learning, as well as fostering student motivation and engagement. However, challenges such as the need for teacher training and curriculum integration are also highlighted. Through the documentary review, it was observed that educational contexts adopting PBL require a shift from traditional methodology, involving teachers and students in an active and participatory learning process. This study concludes that despite the difficulties, PBL is an effective methodology that can transform education if properly implemented. The findings provide a solid foundation for future research and practical applications in diverse educational settings. Additionally, it is suggested that future research explore strategies to overcome the identified challenges and enhance PBL implementation in various educational contexts.
